The theme is “Summertime!” Each person is allowed up to 10 entries, and 3 winners will be chosen.
There is no prize for the monthly contest, but all monthly winners will be eligible for the yearly prize, which will be announced soon.
The winners will be chosen by me, but I will rely heavily on the input from all of our readers, so please leave comments often.
Pictures will be judged on theme relevance, creativity, and overall appeal more than on technical expertise, so novices please feel free to enter.
We are running these contests for fun and to encourage others to share their their photos.
By entering you agree that (a) you took the photo yourself, and (b) your photos will be on permanent display on this website. They will remain your property but will be watermarked with your name and FotoTrek.net, and will be subject to Foto Trek’s terms and conditions. These rules may be ammended for any reason, with or without notice.
Your photos should be no smaller than 800 pixels (width or height) and should be unmarked (we will add the watermark for you). Email them to Liz@FotoTrek.net, and please include your name and any photo information you feel is relevant. They will be published in the order received!
I can’t wait to see all your entries. To me, that is the real prize, and makes everyone winners!
I think that’s it for the legal mumbo jumbo. Any questions, feel free to ask. Now let’s get those photos coming in.
I am looking forward to putting a few photos in the contest. i am a novice, everything has been `trial and error`, but has been quite an exprience and alot of fun for me.
Lovely shot `Kim. I have some flower shots, but not like this. Thanks for sharing.
this one is so pretty, Liz!
Nothing speaks of summer like a footprint in the sand. Karen has captured that in this wonderful entry. I also was captivated by the bee on the line, no matter how many times I see bees I am marvelled at the detail and the miracle of such a live creature..
Koodos to Karen for stirring such emotion with her wonderful EYE(s)…
